Hi, I am a little bit confused in this topics. I came from Intel platform, where I used 1.55V for DRAM Voltage, and it was B-Die of course, and it was absolutely safe. Also, for benching, I could pump up the voltage over 2V, around 2.1V maximum.(maxmem in Win, else there is no boot with B-Die on that voltage)
So, is there any limit with the ZEN 2 and ZEN 3 from IMC side? I purchased a Trident-Z Neo dual rank kit, F4-3200C14D-32GTZN, which is just running fine on 3800MHz CL14-14-12-32, tRFC 250 on 1.525V with my 3800X. On this week, I am going to get my hand onto two 5950X, so hopefully the memory freq can be pushed beyond 4000MHz. If I want to leave my main timings untouched, especially the CL, I will need to add more Volt to the DRAM. B-Die will handle it, but I am not sure about the IMC.
Any idea, review what I have not seen yet regarding this?
