my e8700 eo stepping runs at 3.5 & at 1.250v stock,if i overclock in bios of my ga-x38dq6 to anything above 3.7,3,8,3.9,4.0 or more than 353 fsb,the cpu voltage jumps to 1.390,cpu temp then hits 42c,am i putting to much stress on the cpu with the above voltage hike,its very fast & responsive at 4 which it hits with ease but i do not want to wreck this new core 2 duo e8700
 
am using freezer pro 7,left at 3.6 in bios which keeps cpu voltage at 1.250 stock,overclocked another 200 for time being to make 3.8 in easy tune pro 5 which still leaves everything at stock voltages,cpu idles at 30c,have found in the past with gigabyte boards that a mixture of bios & easy tune software overclock quite well.
