Maximus 8 Impact UEFI Resolution?

Hi all,

I have just plugged in my new M8I Impact w/ 6700k CPU on the test bench to ensure all is working however it will only display on half of the display.

It is cramming the whole UEFI into the top half of my screens. I have tried 2 1080 displays & a 1080 TV and all produce the same results.

As I am still waiting for a video card to arrive, I'm just using Skylake Integrated Graphics via the single onboard HDMI port at the moment.

Has anyone ever come across this, google doesn't bring up much.

Just to update this in case anyone ever comes across this again,

If CSM is disabled this issue resolved..

Alternatively if a Win7 install is required, you must wait until handoff to the O/S for the drivers to kick in.

Something to do with UEFI Legacy mode max res of 640x480.
