maximus hero mobo issue

recently there was a powercut and my pc failed to boot.
i tried again with a different lead and it booted, but i see a message telling me "press F1 to recover BIOS settings"
i see a red button on the mobo saying reset, but i have never been in this position before.

if anyone can guide me on how to resolve this, i would be immensely grateful.

Press F1 and it should boot to bios you will have to redo your bios settings most likely.

Mite need a new bios/cmos battery I would change it anyway.

i went into the bios and clicked default setings and i'm back up and running!

Press f1 to recover is a pretty common
Error message
Power cut,change cpu,bios update etc
Are all things that can cause it

Now you're up and running again
Just be aware loading bios default settings
Your ram may be running slower without xmp/expo enabled
And resize BAR may be disabled (if applicable to your gpu)
