"Maxing out crysis"

I see a lot of posters on here claiming to be able to "max out" crysis. With 8xaa all very high @ 1920x1200 getting 40 plus fps.

I have yet to see a rig other than 295gtx quad sli even come close to this in the online testing of graphics cards.

Did you have a specific question? I think a lot of ppl use custom configs which allow similiar visual quality but with far higher performance.

Honestly though, even just playing at medium the game looks good and is much more fun when truly smooth 60fps

I think it might have been modded or fully patches becasue they got rid of some of the performace bugs, and mem leaks and stuff

They are, just what they don't tell you is, their res is 20x15, not 1920x1200

I haven't seen anyone claiming to get 40fps+ at 1920 with 8xAA.

Sure, maxxing out Crysis is fairly easy nowadays, but 8xAA will still cripple any machine.
