Maxing out RAM, and still adding graphics cards

Hi guys,

Just a general question. If i maxed out my RAM on my motherboard would i be able to add graphics cards in SLI? E.G. Motherboard maximum capacity 32GB RAM, 32GB of RAM loaded onto it with 2 GTX 670's with 4GB ram on each, total 40GB asked many people and no-one seems to know :confused:

Question i have wanted to know the answer to for a while

So the VRAM on your graphic card does not account for the that maximum, which your motherboard supports?
