Seems some server changes on the weekend broke Core17 and Core18 on Maxwell GPU's https://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=26807&start=30

Error to look out for is "ERROR:exception: Force RMSE error"

Multiple failures then just stops the client from folding any more.

That's a bit if a PITA. What sort of PPD do you get from Maxwell cards out of curiosity?

Depends on card and the core/project.

Lets put it this way, you can get 70K PPD on a 750Ti Core 17 and you can get 60K PPD on a GTX 970 Core 15 project.

Having been out of the folding loop for a while, how do the newer core 17 and 18 compare to core 15?

Core 17 is the new Quick Return Bonus WU's worth about 3-5 times more than a Core 15. Core 18 is a beta WU thats a bit more than a Core 17

they are always a bit slow to sort out newer cards i think, but i won't be getting any maxwell cards to next year so they have time to fix it.
