Maybe new PSU?

HI there, i recently brought new parts for a pc. but i cant get the thing to power up, the spec is:

intel i7 core
nividia gtx 260
OCZ 6gb ram
Gigabyte EX58-UD3R Motherboard

i currently have a 500w unbranded PSU, could this be the cause? have i got enough power?.

Any comments appreciated

Unbranded PSU's are a bad idea IMO.. I would suggest that you upgrade!!

There seem to be a lot of people having PSU troubles ATM...

Never ever skimp on a psu. It is the single most important component of a pc. Unbranded ones never deliver the power they claim and will usually take out other components when they fail.

Thank you for your comments, i did wonder that it wouldnt be powerfull enough. ill get straight onto a new one!!
