Hey,

So I have been wondering about solid tubing fittings, and I am curious exactly how good they are "attached".

Do they work like compression fittings so the tubing are somehow "locked" into place, or can you just pull them out of the fitting? And if you can, how easy is it do do that?

the fittings such as the primochill compress the tube and have orings to seal the connection

the monsoon have a glue on collar to the tubing then the fitting compress the collar onto the oring.

From what ive seen compression ones can be pulled out with not much effort if you wanted to. Monsoons are solid though.

Either will be fine with normal use. Ive chose the primochill ones just as I think they look the best.

Makes sense.
I am going to get a couple of EK HDC fittings for a few straight lines in my loop just to try out and get familiar with, and I guess they are like the primochill ones.

Want to make a full acrylic loop eventually as it looks sweet, so need to test stuff out before building.
