I'm currently running my trust 3930k, Asus Sabertooth x79 mobo and 8gb samsung green DDR3 PC3-12800C11 1600MHz 30nm Dual Channel Kit. Which I've been running up until recently with no problems.
Over the past few weeks I've been experiencing some intermitent boot problems, a few post fails and I've noticed the Asus self bios repair in operation. I've had a couple of BSOD's and one or two random restarts.
I've checked all the usual suspects, virus, hard disk errors etc, have very little dust in the system, checked and reseated cables etc, and everything seems to be working as it should, otherwise.
After just short of 5 years I'm wondering if its an age thing, if it does end up dying, what should I go for as I've not really kept upto date. I mostly game, and use the net to be fair and would have a budget of about £500.
