hi
Last night I was playing with the mem timings a bit, needed to reset the cmos once or twice while doing so. After the last reset though, it started a cycle, power would be on for like a second, followed by power off for 2 seconds, and than on again for a sec, etc.
So now im wondering what the problem can be, my first thought is a dead motherboard, since the fans connected to the motherboard wont spin up. Ive also looked for short circuits but couldnt find any. I then stripped down my comp to just the cpu, it didnt beep or anything though.
So i think its the motherboard, or is there something else im overlooking?
spcs, DS3, e6600, geil pc6400
TIA
//super quick edit
shorting the power switch does make the non-mobo connected fans spin up, so now im confused :\, surely dont hope the motherboard is dead, since i have loads a important data on my raid array :|
