I used these guys with mine.

Was starting to slow down on startup. They hadn't been changed at all as far as I could tell. So did it at 52k miles. So I fitted the uprated coil packs, ht leads and spark plugs and started straight off. Still does at 83k miles now.

It's a pain to do. Significantly easier if you've got access to a ramp or pit.

That's very different, genuine mazda parts vs much higher rated parts.
One of the main causes of issues the coils though, not always noticed and causes fuel wash then seal/housing wear.

I would love another but so many people wreck them. Guy at work has one and makes me wince when he starts i cold forgets his phone and switches off and runs back in work, or just the way he trundles around in it. Poor car cant be happy at such low revs.
 
Loving my 40th Anniversary Rx8, not had it long about 3 weeks.
Bought from Ben at Rotary Revs which are know to have a very good reputation with Rotary's.

Fresh engine built with 100 miles on the clock and 5 year warranty on this! D585 Ignition Coil Kit which is guaranteed for life.

Still being run in but loving the sound and the way it holds the roads.

Fuel & road tax are hilarious but I don't care as I don't have to drive it to commute etc..

Need some nice rubber on it and maybe look into better brakes but that's about it.

That is absolutely gorgeous, I am very jealous...
 
I've now seriously started to look for an R3. Hopefully I will find something I like within the next few months.
