Mazdas

Never been a fan of the looks of larger Mazdas. I'd be looking at a nicer higher spec Mondeo Mk4 Titanium X for that money though.

I'm the opposite in that I'd have a mazda 6 over a mondeo.

Tbh given how similar they are just find the best condition / price example of either and go with it.

Davey!!!! Argh!!! I drive a Titanium X and have done for the past 2 x motors. I was trying to move away from them (just for a change).

Do you think the M6 is overpriced or is that the going rate - i know nothing about Mazda.

A couple of months ago i brought a Mazda 6 Sport (2.5 petrol).

Within a month of having it i got fed up with it and purchased a nice Mondeo Titanium X.

I know buying a Mazda 6 is a break from the norm, but for the non premium market the Mondeo is the best option.

Not getting a mondeo is just shooting yourself in the foot just to be different!

Well from the last thread it looked like you were going for one of two Titanium X, then most people said don't bother and keep your current car as there's nothing really wrong with it.

I'd want a nice leather interior for that amount of cash. Yes they're newer cars, but I'd be wanting more.

Do you have a Mk3 Titanium X or a Mk4 Titanium X at the moment? As the Mk4 is a lot nicer I feel.

Else for that much cash, look at some BMW 3 series?

ah! just looking at the reg's, one is 60 plate and one is an 11 plate, yet the 60 plate is the same price and has done 2k more miles than than the 11.

How do they justify the price difference between both cars?

I would agree. The Mondeo and Mazda are nice, but not £14,000 nice!

I would feel pretty bad spending that much on a Ford or Mazda.

the 11 plate has been owned by the garage from new and is ex-demo. So that's a no-no for me.

The other car the garage has offered it at £13500.

Parkers is almost always a higher/ out of date value when compared to actual market value too.

As another poster said, you can get that same shape & spec at significantly less just by buying slightly older - it will also give you a feel for how much money this type of car loses over just a couple of years
