anyone know how long the warranty is with gbyte on these boards, I have found some of there boards have 3 yrs, and I have had this one two but cant find it quoted, anyone else bought one and can remember.

seems to be a very stable board when its 'right', and a dog if its not lol

mine has gone the way of the corrupt cmos, ie it tries to start, then 3 seconds later powers down and then powers back up for another 3 seconds, repeat until the cows come home.

no clearing the cmos will not work... (seems it only clears if its not corrupt...)

Why do i think its corrupt cmos? because the very last thing i did was go into cmos, reset all to default, and chose save and reboot.....

that and I have found other threads with same symptoms and all just after saving settings, sleeping in windows, and flashing.

usual cure is rma no one seems to have another fix.............

what annoys me is mine hasnt gone in first year its 20 months old...

I had one of these and it was rock solid for 2 years. The warranty should be 3 years on the board, so get in touch with Gigabyte and they should be able to sort it out.

My P35c DS3R went into a similar loop (it has done it a few times). To break the loop I found that if I unplugged the PSU and then remove the CMOS battery (and leave a jumper on the CMOS reset) for a few hours it would be ok when next tried.
