Ive got this old Sapphire 939 at the time it was old and new tech all in one which i have found to be a pain in the A** and was wandering because of the boot issues ive been having what order i should plug my hdd's and optical drives into.

1 WD GP 1TB HDD
1 WD REG 500GB HDD
sony sata2 dvd rw
samsung Combo dvd drive IDE
and a toshiba samsung corp combo drive IDE

I keep getting Boot errors and cant find my Harddrives, it trys to lan boot even tho the option has been disabled in the bios. can anyone tell me what pin configuration for the (IDE) and order I should set all this up.
Does it effect boot if the dvd drive is in sata2 port 1 and the harddrives on sata1?, I always have issues with hdd and sata 2.

I know its a bit of a weird layout but ive tried so many ways and usally ends up not working with sata 2 at all, I currently need my win7 disk to boot otherwise it cant find the hdds me thinks I have to unplug the dvd drive from the sata 2 but I have to take the graphics card out to get to the sata connections and the cd drives are weird as well.
1 can write but not copy others can copy and and not wite is this to do with pin configs? its so annoying.

Sata2A = DVD Drive
Sata2B = Empty
Sata1A = 500GB OS
Sata1B = 1TB data
Sata1C = Empty
Sata1D = Empty
IDE 1 = Combo drive
IDE 2 = Combo drive

yeah I plugged my sata dvd drive into the sata 1 port and it wouldnt load even to bios, so I unplugged my ide cd drives and it worked? so in the end i just scapped my old drives anyway because I dont burn much atm.

Defo problem with the sata port pain the ass motherboard need a new build.:mad:
