MB testing

Hi

I’m fault testing my pc which currently has an MSI 850 psu in…only 5 months old. PC now won’t boot and I’ve tried recommended tests.

I want to test if it’s the PSU and just want the cheapest to do so. My rig is

X99 sabertooth
5820k
2070 super

If I unplug all the drives and the 2070 I should be able to test the MB on quite a low wattage PSU.

would a Corsair 450w do the job?

What’s the lowest wattage PSU I can get just to test MB? I’ll unplug drives and GPU.

Hi thanks…in then end I took the pc to a repair shop….MB is dead…new build for me
