mb with 8 sata sockets

Hi, I'm looking for a motherboard with 8 SATA sockets so i can run 8 seperate harddrives, any cpu socket will do.

Quick look shows the Gigabyte DS4 to have 8. Bet lots of others will have too.

I know its not the answer your looking for, but thinking our the box, you could use 2 SATA controllers with 4 ports each on ANY motherboard if its old.

Most Mobos nowadays have 8 I think.

His current NF680i has issues with PCI SATA controllers iirc.

Yeah the Gigabytes have 8 on-board. The others steal two ports for eSATA.

Thanks for the replys,, its not in that pc, its going the other pc i have the DFI UT RDX200CF mb is having problems with one to two sata sockets so i'm looking to replace that.
