can someone help me out with setting up the temp monitors and maybe which "board" i should select from the range of ASUS mobo's it offers.

1st off my board is the An8-SLI SE and i have been using the A7N8X-X (all revisions) fromt he selection of ASUS boards it offers.

when setting up the temp gauges i have it as,

Case - IET871F-1
CPU Diode - IET871F-3
CPU Socket - IET871F-2

the reason i have it setup like this is because in the BIOS i can see the CPU temp as 31c and when in windows by using these settings the socket senser shows 30c the diode shows 29 but the case is showing about 34c.

when under load the CPU goes upto about 34 to 36 the doide does not really move maybe up 1 or 2c but the case goes upto 42, 43 sometimes alittle more, which makes me think i might have something the wrong way round.

anyone throw any light on this ? :)

This may not be too useful for you but MBM was stopped being updated a while ago, probably why your motherboard isn't selectable.

Could I suggest trying SpeedFan?
