MBP 128MB vs 256MB Graphics Card...

For gaming really, I play the occasional CS: Source, WoW and probably command and conquer 3 when it comes out.

As you can see my gaming needs are not super high and prob never will be.

Theres a good price on the refurb store at the moment for an MBP with a 128MB 1600.

in all honesty, would it make *that* much of a difference? (well, £300 (!) worth of a difference in this case)

it should be OK with those last gen games, besides if it runs out of memory it will probably take to stealing space from your main system RAM

WoW will run like a dream on anything bar onboard graphics. Dunno about the rest.

Why not go for the 256 version but shop around? Check on ebay or find a student and get a high educational discount

too late, i just bought the 128MB one

I had a think and had a look at the games i'm most likely to play in the future

my extensive brainstorming came up with.... the new command and conquer game (lol).
