MBP 17 SB questions

Itching to order everything. WRT to glossy vs matte; been using (and indeed typing this on) a mate's C2D MBP 13 with glossy screen in a fairly light room. I like the screen a lot and have moved it around to see what it's like with reflections etc. I'm also going to watch a lot of movies on it; any point in actually seeing what the matt is like? I'm pretty certain I'm going with gloss...
 
I like glossy. It's sharper because it doesn't have a diffuse coating on top.

Either reflections have never bothered me, or I got used to them very quickly.
 
Just also remember that the optibay is only SATA2 and the main hdd port is SATA3. Basically, put the SSD in the normal place instead of the hdd, and add your data storage hdd into the optibay where the SATA2 won't bottleneck it. :)
 
OK, just viewed glossy and matte side by side. Like them both, hasn't really helped! :rolleyes:

Just gonna go with glossy. Ordering everything today.

Tbh people do fight the case for both sides very well (i chose AG myself) but both are fantastic screens in their own right.

Writing this from my new MBP. It's awesome :D. Going to install optibay, agility 3 and 8GB 1600MHz RAM this week.
