Girlfriend has a Mid 2010 MBP which is completely full up with all sorts of rubbish. Looking at getting her a SSD and upgrading it for he, and a clean install
My question how do i go about swapping out the hard drive for an SSD and upgrading to el capitain.
The old HDD will only be needed to copy her photo library and itunes back accross.
My understanding is that a new SSD will need formatting before i can attempt to install oSX
Also while im at it i may aswell upgrade the ram can it take 16GB
