Bought a mbp the other day and i asked for one with a glossy screen as i do a lot of photo work and this is what was recommended to me by friend . However after playing on the mbp over the weekend i do not think that mine has got a glossy screen, would they replace it for one with a glossy screen if i nip into the store?

Thanks

The glossy screen is quite obvious to spot, especially when turned off (nice and reflective) but as stated you have 14 days to sort it out :)

Was it BTO (built to order?) if so I think you can only replace it "online". If its a standard configuration then I think you'll be ok.

No it was from the trafford centre i asked the guy for one with a glossy screen and not really had a chance to play with it until yesterday when i noticed i ain't got a glossy screen.

Will pop back and change it today, thanks for the info guys.

I was after a glossy screen originally. If you picked one up in an Apple Store then it's very unlikely to be glossy because its a build-to-order spec.

Went to apple store in the arndale before, explained the situation and they swapped it with a new with a glossy screen :)

Also got leopard disks with it :)

All Good....
