MBP.. GPU and battery...

Just put the ol' 2011 MBP into have the GPU fixed.. and the battery is dead as well as the hard disk on it's last legs :/

What was going to be a cheap day.. ended costing for a new battery... I already have a HD that I can swap out.

The GPU died on my 2011 last week. Had to buy a new one as I couldn't wait, but I'm hoping they'll fix it. One of the random resets has stopped it even loading the OS. Fun!

The irony is that this 2011 MBP was bought to replace my old failed nVidia GPU MBP.

Typing in the newly working MBP.

If you're waiting to have the MBP fixed, keep the battery on charge. I didn't and letting it go flat for months on end destroys the battery.
