My uMBP has started an annoying habit of losing its Wi-Fi connection to my router.
The AirPort indicator every now and again starts cycling like its searching for a Wi-Fi connection and nothing happens till I click on my network and a few seconds later its connected.
Forgot to add, software wise I've just installed the latest updates via System Update, 10.6.3.

Any ideas?

I've had the original Core Duo iMac, a MacBook and now the new MacBook Pro do this on occasion with 10.5 and 10.6 with all the point updates in between.

Unfortunately I've just put it down to something inherently wrong with OSX and/or the drivers. :(

mines started doing this in the last couple of days, really irritating when i leave it on during the day to download the updates and its drops the connection. Still happening on 10.6.3

not a netgear router either.

Sure is, WNR2000. Whats up with Netgear routers?

I use mine with a Netgear routed with a wired connection. Was at a friends the other night and the wifi dropped constantly. He says he gets the same on his MBP. I think I remember reading somewhere before about issues with Netgear issues. Can you try a wired connection and see if you still have any funny behaviour? My guess is that it is just wifi though.
