I have a late 2008 unibody MBP. It works fine still, but the battery has reached EOL and started to bulge and means the battery cover doesn't shut properly.
Given the laptop is over 5 years old and I plan to replace it with a rMBP at the next update, I don't particularly want to pay the £100+ apple are quoting for a new battery.
I've seen much cheaper OEM batteries, and wondered if anyone has any experience of them?
