I'm after a laptop to take on me travels. I was originally thinking of getting a Macbook Pro, because of the software it comes with to do pictures, movies and web pages easily. I'm started to re-consider this now as I also want to be able to play games occasionally as well, so I've been looking at the M9750 instead.

They both work out around £2000 but I can't decide which one I should go for. Half of me wants the MBP because of the looks and the easy programs which come with it. The other half wants to go for the Alienware, because I've always wanted one and it would be much better for running games on.

Which one do you think would be best to go for ? And are there any easy programs for the PC to use to do things I mentioned abvove ?

Alienwares are a bit big for travaling arn't they? You can also install windows on the MBP for gaming, I know where my money would go. (and has gone)

Mac Zealot

The original plan was to have windows on the mac, but I had heard the GFX cards in them were pants for games.

Get the MPB. Its got an 8600GT - fine for occasional gaming. If you go travelling around the world a Mac is much better for all the stuff you can do on it (like you've said). You'll regret it otherwise :)
