MBP - Replace HDD with a 7200rpm....

That's got to be the biggest load of crap I've read in a long time!

On that basis my MBP would still say it's got a Toshiba drive in it.

Its just a case of choosing one, some review sites like the Hitachi, some like the Seagate. Just go through them a pick the one you want.

It's actually not that hard to replace the HDD, it's just fiddly.

Oh and FYI, if you can do it without damaging the innards you only have to repeat the process and put back your original HDD if you want Apple to service it.

Follow the guide on http://www.ifixit.com/guides :)

I've said before, some 2.5" drives won't fit properly and cause the case to bulge because they're too thick, I know the seagate drive will fit but I can't vouch for any others (except to say that a fujitsu drive I tried would not fit)
