MBP running Windows 7 trackpad problem

Hi all

When running Windows 7 on my MBP, the trackpad doesn't work anywhere near as well as it does under OSX. I understand that many of the gestures and such won't work, but even basic left clicking often takes numerous presses on the trackpad to register. I don't use the tap to select option, so I always physically press the trackpad for this purpose, but at times, even though I'm phsyically pushing the trackpad down, and it's making the clicking noise it does when pushed down, it has no effect on screen. When it does this, I typically have to press nearer the centre of the trackpad for it to register.

Has anyone got any idea what could be the problem? I find that I have to use an external mouse when using Windows because the trackpad is so infuriating.

Many thanks for any thoughts.

M.

Have you run the apple update to get it to bootcamp 3.3?? I had similar problems when I installed Lion, wasn't sure why, but the update fixed it to a point where its useable, just not as slick as osx :(

Well it was probably a couple of weeks ago since I last ran the Apple updater in Windows 7. However, I have found something called Trackpad++ that's supposed to be a decent driver for the MBP trackpad.
