Ok Folks,

I been to Apple shop in meadhowhall earlier as you all now have been asking questions about my MBP 2.16mhz which came with Tigar as leopard was not out then since it about 2 - 2.5 years old.

As you all know I been thinking of getting a monitor for my MBP for big screen for doing my photo work. Then again was thinking of getting a iMac 2.66 24" to get better performance as I notice mine not as fast as use to be.

Then this guy at the apple store told me to put Tigar back on my MBP since it came with Tigar and he said he honestly think my speed will be back to how I Had it. He said Leopard is causing a bit of slow down even though i got 3gb of memory in.

Do you think this make sense guys? As I hate wasting money I dont want to go and buy something that not needed.

As someone who owned a 2.16Ghz MBP I think you would see a worthwhile difference in speed.

Personally, I don't think the 2.16Ghz model was really up to scratch for proper Leopard performance. If you're running Tiger, I found it to be fine with that.

No need for a second thread on a similar topic.

Leopard won't run well on the 2.16Ghz MBP? That sounds a little odd, given it can install on G4s etc? Or is this a Vista-ish kind of 'It can install, but why would you?' sort of thing
