MBR fix on Vista disk

I know how to repair the MBR via a XP disk, but how would I do this with a Vista DVD?

I was wondering this too actually, how do you boot into the recovery console?

simply boot from the cd and use the repair option. It's very good, it will detect and repair many problems without needing a reinstall or any manual commands such as fixmbr

yeah, it's like automatic recovery console, i was pretty impressed tbh (although all they've done is a quick diagnose & repair really), i think it's improved again in SP1
