When McAfee internet security is installed it asks you to make it the default security centre. What is the best option Windows security centre or McAfee?

I chose McAfee Security Center and it works fine for me.
If either your firewall or anti-virus is disabled (if you have them both) then the shield turns from red to black as a warning.
