It was only a matter of time before big Eck got the boot. He should have gone after the Inter Milan game with his head held high for taking us to the last 16 of the CL. I think time will show that the only reason he stayed is because Paul le Guen didn't want to take over half way through a disasterous season.
Even though we were on a ten game unbeaten run til the Hibs game we were not playing good football (possibly with the exception of the win over Hearts), nor were we winning convincingly. A slip in form was inevitable and with three tough games against Celtic, Villarreal and Hibs coming up I can see things getting worse before they get any better

It will be interesting if Rangers do well against Villareal and go through to the next round.
Would he still go if he won the Champions league?

Unlikely I know but still possible.

Im a Celtic fan but have to admit to feeling a little sorry for big Eck.
I wish him well wherever he goes. (Don't wish him well for Sunday though)

How about Souness to Rangers? as him and David Murray are goods mates and as an ex Rangers player he knows what it means to the fans and has the passion for the club. Having said that I hope not as we'd not be able to off load all are crap players on him ie Boumsong nice bit of profit in that deal, there again Blackburn still buy all our waste and are after another !!!

Terry Butcher could be a good appointment.

As for Sundays game I can see Rangers pulling of a victory trying to prove themselves for when the new man arrives as many will be on their way, no wonder David Murray wouldn't put any money up in January. Either that or else we'll get beat by a Cricket Score.
