Anyone here work or know anyone who works at Maccy D's?

How much are they paying hourly these days? Just doing a comparison of when I worked there 10 years ago I was on about £3.50/hr. Management wages these days seem to be pretty good if you can hack the grind.

Nice!...How many years to get that position

I went off to university and some guys stayed on working there full time working their way up. You can get from floor manager to store manager in about 2 years which one guy did, then became an area manager on about £45K. Not bad for age 25 with no qualifications, it's a damn sight more than I earn.

Either way, why knock those who are working, it might not be the best job in the world but I prefer McDonalds workers to muppets who refuse to do anything "beneath" them.

Not really, the last place I worked at part time had a form about that long. They don't need to know much and they don't ask for a reference. In fact apart from the colours, yes, it's exactly the same as when I worked there as a teenager
