Mcdonalds wages

To be honest, it doesn't really matter what the morons working in McDonalds are paid; at least keeping them indoors stops them falling into rivers or under buses. And they do provide sustenance ideally suited to many culturally challenged, white English people :D

Either way, why knock those who are working, it might not be the best job in the world but I prefer McDonalds workers to muppets who refuse to do anything "beneath" them.
100% agree with you there.

Blimey thats a seriously short application form for a crew member
Not really, the last place I worked at part time had a form about that long. They don't need to know much and they don't ask for a reference. In fact apart from the colours, yes, it's exactly the same as when I worked there as a teenager :D

My sister is working at mcdoanlds whilst still at school doing her final exams. :)

You earn £4.35 if you are under 18, otherwise starting wage is £4.85

she also says " there are lots of managers, there are more managers than there are crew members"

I'd rather they worked at McDonalds, as opposed to sponging off benefits.

I work for my money. So should (almost) everyone else.

Well put :)

ASDA Aces is worse, its cleaning company within asda. I work for them atm. The work is really crap, and i get paid £5:35ph.

Bad things are the wage, we get no discount cards, asda staff do. I remember one year ASDA staff got their xmas dinner free, they tried to make us pay lol. We get nothing for working bank holidays, NOTHING. Or overtime. And its 6am start :(

Not much else round my area. Need to learn to use this job to learn to drive then look elsewhere.

No, actually, you don't know I'm thinking it at all. It would be rather hypocritical of me if thats what I did think as I often visit McDonalds.

How is the crooze scene these days?

Also the term "McJob" was not coined by McDonalds but by a newspaper iirc which was taking the mickey out of the number of graduates finding themselves in McDonalds. Or is that an urban myth. I have always said the exact same thing as the above when people **** off Mcdonalds

I have more respect for someone behind a till than some loser claiming dole

its not mcdonalds but i worked at pizza hut for a while and was on £5.90 an hour with 50% staff discount + tips
