McDonalds

Really? That can't be good?

I don't really care, I consider eating a chore and fastfood is a good way to stuff yourself and not be hungry for a while after and reach the 2k calories needed a day easier... Besides, McD and KFC make eating not a chore, but a treat :).

I'm addicted to hotwings ( or chicken wings in general, homemade ones usually require spicy ketchup or chilli sauce to go with it though :)), I pretty much always visit KFC for a hotwings meal after work...
And McD, while not as nice as KFC, is still very very nice, Big macs or quarter pounders fill me while tasting great.

That's a shame. Good food is awesome.

Good food = junkfood imo though.

I don't like making food myself is the biggest issue. But bring me to any fastfood joint, any snackbar, any chinese, any kebab, any curry, any other asian place and I love eating ( pretty much anything from the menu, there's not a single thing from my local chinese, from maccy, or from kfc, or from a kebab place, I don't like to eat...).

Surely that needs to be balanced with the fact that continuing to do this will have serious health implications?

Damn you.

In that single post, you have told everybody, that you simply don't give a damn.

You are doing, what I would love to do, but can't for fear of bad health.

Yeah and I know someone who had a similar but not quite so bad attitude towards food not so long ago, and ended up with a rather nasty eating disorder after they’d piled on the pounds….

Path to ruin and your health will suffer. When they say eat between 2 – 2.5K for a typical male a day, they actually mean with an assortment of well balanced foods.

Eating the same greasy burgers, deep fried chicken and fast prepared Chinese meals etc isn’t balanced. You need a balanced diet for the nutrients it provides. Generally, eating a mix of veg, meats, fruits and drinking water and fruit juices gets you all the natural fats, sugars and fibre etc your body needs….

But its your body mate, you go for it….

Oh and being lazy to cook a meal isn't the attitude... You can cook a Chinese stir fry in less then 20 mins, is your health not important enough to take 20 mins out your life to eat healthier? Its 20 mins, out of all the stuff you'd do in that 20 mins, its not even a TV episode...!!

Its not a chore to cook a meal 3 - 4 times a week. Hit the takeways at the weekend as a treat..

I wish I piled up the pounds, I was ill ( for 2 weeks) 3 month ago and barely ate, lost 2 kg's in the process ( from 51 to 49 kg's), after 3 months I still have not managed to get that weight back...

Due to people being individual and not part of some 'hive mind', some tend to like McDonald's food and some don't! It really is that simple!

Oh well.... You'll pile the pounds on in later life with a diet like that, don't you worry....

How old are you BTW? No reason.

And 3 mins to make noodles can't be that much of a hassle??? lol Is it too much hassle to make a cup of tea? I mean waiting for the water to boil must really grind you up.... :D

Your weight will rocket up in a few years time. If taking 3 minutes to make food is a hassle something is wrong, surely it takes more than 3 minutes to order and receive take-away food?

Yes, waiting is not my strongest point, I always get annoyed for anything I have to wait, be it traffic lights, a line at the supermarket or fastfood joint, waiting for my food to be done, even waiting a few more seconds than usual for my pc to load anything, everything must go as quickly as possible. I'm an impatient ****...

I still have not managed to get that weight back...

That's because you eat nothing but **** so your body has absolutely none of what it needs to redevelop properly.

Virtually anyone under 23-25 can eat junk and not get fat, you watch as you enter your early twenties as your waistline grows faster than you age.

He is eating burgers, chips, Indian currys, Chinese food and probably foods from other parts of the World.

How balanced and diverse do you want him to get?

I guess taste is in the mouth of the beholder. I think the chips and McD's are nicer and softer then the ones at BK, but the burgers at BK are far better then McD's

My thoughts exactly. Fortunately for me, both are very very close so I'll often get a burger from BK and then get the chips from McD's.

I say often but I only get it once a month or so.

Balanced as in not an assortment of crap from around the world, but what his body actually needs. Does 7 1/2 stone at 18 eating fast food everyday sound healthy to you?
