Guys,
Last hope here. I have an OEM copy of XP MCE 2005 bought with some hardware from OCUK. Installed fine on my PC and has been working OK. Today had to reinstall due to some hard drive issues and now cannot activate. The install ID generated is an XP Pro ID (according to Microsoft) not a MCE ID so they refuse to activate it (Internet or Phone). Microsoft say this is a 'mis-licensed' copy and I have no support.
OCUK support also unable to help.
Anyone had this problem before? Do i just have to bin this software?
