MCE users - with TV card

Hi,

Was just wondering, ppl using Windows Media Centre with a TV card, what TV card have they got and how long ( approx ) does it take to load Live TV ?

I have an oldish Nova-T card and swear it can take at least a 30 seconds to load.

Was told this is b/c of the TV card and not CPU/RAM etc.

Any other views about this ?

Oh Spec of Pc is:

Athlon xp 1800
512 ddr 2100 ram
110 gb HDD
Radeon 7000 ( i think )

It takes a while to load for me... ~5-10secs. This is with 2x Nova-T's.

Athlon XP2400
1gb RAM

I rarely watch live TV though, so don't really see it as a problem.

Got a Compro DVB T200 and can't get Live TV in MCE at all. It works fine in all other Apps except MCE. All I get is a blank screen with stuttering sound.

Couple of a seconds with a Compro T200, though sometimes it takes longer then goes on to "No signal"

I think it sped up a bit when I went from nVidia Purevideo Decoder -> WinDVD 7

DOn't mean to hijack this thread, but what MPEG decoder are you guys using with the Compro cards? I got mine second hand and don't have the CD. Tried installing about 5 decoders (all of which are OK according to the MS decoder checker utility) but none work.
