Check out techexams.net forum. Is pretty good and has some online test from a wide range of vendors like Cisco, Comptia aswell as Microsoft!

Depends on the exam.

A mixture of drag and drop, multiple choice and simulations.

Times are also different expect around 50 questions+ depending on the exam and again the time varies. When you book the exam you'll be given the length of the exam normally around 2 hours ish.

Each exam differs in its content. Some are simply 50 multiple choice questions; some have simulations where you have to carry out specific tasks like enabling fine grained passwords, or setting up DNS scavenging; and some have 'testlets' where you are presented with a scenario containing a lot of information on a company's server and network infrastructure, then get asked 5-10 multiple choice questions on the scenario, such as what method would you use to deploy a new application, or how you would improve logon times in a certain country.

examcollection.com all your transcender needs :)
I think you have to pay some money for the application that opens the practise exams but it is well worth it and once you have it you can do any exam they have which is pretty much everything!

As for exams, you will get way too much time! I think they usually give you 2 hours, the longest i have ever taken is 1 hour.
