June 14 marks the anniversary of one of the most important and outstanding days in McLaren’s history.
It was the day in 1970 when the courage, fortitude and talent of two men not only helped to restore the morale of a team torn apart only 12 days earlier by the death of its much-loved founder Bruce McLaren, but laid the foundation on which it would rebuild.
