Well that time of year is coming round again and the MCN fantasy race league is open for registration. I thought it would be a bit of fun for us to have our own league and share in the highs and lows of the race season.

I've started my own team Lucky73 and created an OcUK private league.

Sign up and create your team here: http://mcn.fantasyleague.com

The league PIN which you need to join it is 1268

I see you shared my choice of Rossi and Hopkins, I've got good hopes for them both this year although I'm slightly worried Rossi still wont manage to get back to his old form.

PS. I just realised I need to approve each new member. Post here after you've joined and I'll add you on.

Yeah, I think Rossi has still got the motivation, just whether Ducati can give him a decent bike, which judging from the tests so far at least it's a good step forwards if nothing else.

I was a bit gutted for Hopkins that he didn't win BSB, even though it was a great last race and you can't exactly say Hill didn't deserve it, I just felt Hopkins deserved it more and can do well this year :)

Not sure on Laverty though, not for his skill but cause I'm not 100% sure that Aprilia/Biaggi will let him have an equal chance...

Ok joined the league with the name Bracked. I went for Spies and Abraham (thought i would give the lessers a chance:D )

Ahh nice, looks like you can join multiple leagues :)

Can't use the button at the top now though, have to scroll further down the page to where your leagues are listed.

For those of you with Hopkins

John Hopkins is set to miss the first round of the 2012 World Superbike Championship at Phillip Island after suffering a hand injury during testing.

"The track conditions were not the best and we started the day a bit late because there were some damp patches around from the overnight rain. Having said that, it wasn't the damp that caused the crash. I was on a used tyre and probably on the last lap before pulling in. I exited turn one and might have been just a little bit too hot for the condition of the tyre going into turn two, when suddenly the rear came round even before I got on the brakes. I was spat off and unfortunately came down on my right hand - the same one that is missing a bit of finger. The X-rays show that I have fractured a bone in the base of the hand near what's left of my fourth finger."

Also Haga is now officially confirmed with Swan Yamaha in BSB.

Damn that's rotten luck, hope he gets better soon as I really had him down as a contender this year. He got really fired up with BSB last year and seemed to have the right state of mind to go out and win.

Well the first race weekend is over and I'm regretting swapping Hopper for Lascorz. The man looked good for a decent finish in the second race before ditching it. Still joint 3rd in the league isn't too bad and Sykes really did me proud with a couple of solid finishes.

Well that's round 1 over now and the transfer window has opened before round 2 starts.

Make your changes and if you have one of the injured riders you might want to swap them out. The leader board looks something like this:

1 Gavin Harcourt Lucky73 206
2 101 predator I Bought a Lemon 193
3 Rob Clenshaw Supersonic Squirrel Racing 178
4 Dan Morgan MADMAN69UK 158
