MCP heeeeellllp!

Boss said I'm in line for a promotion in from IT helpdesk to remote computing if I do 3 MCPs, but one must be Server and one workstation. He said start with Windows XP because that's the easiest to pass. I cannot make head or tail of this --> http://www.microsoft.com/learning/mcp/benefits/default.asp



Please help, what should do I do Is an MCP one core exam or an entire qualification, what is a server MCP and what is a workstation MCP, I can't find any Windows XP MCP

You attain MCP with one exam.

You want exam 70–290 for your server qualification (its quite good actually), and exam 70–270 for your client.

Any idea on where the Windows XP exams are, the site only lists win2k?

Also following your reasoning, am I assuming that doing these 4 will equal MCSA?

That's the exact route I took as it happens... though the order was slightly different.
