How long is each exam? e.g. 70-271, 70-272 as I want to book them one after another on the same day. Also my company is offering me vouchers for both exams but they need my MCP ID, where do I get this if I am new

I think those exams are the troubleshooting XP and its applications ones. As for your MCP code I have no idea, I would have thought you get that when you have finished

Exam times can vary. I've retook an exam (70-293) after screwing up (annoying when you are 2 points short of passing :p) to find that the time allowed dropped by 30 minutes with the number of questions increased by 8. I would predict that the exam time would be around 2 hours though don't take my word. The length of the exam shouldn't bother you if you are well prepared. If you are trying to schedule exams based on time, I'd suggest giving at least a 3 hour gap inbetween. Exams with case studies will obviously require more.

You don't have a MCP ID until you earn your first MCP, which = passing your first exam.

I think it's quite common for people to do these two MCDST certs in a day. Usually one in the morning and one in the afternoon. I don't think it'd be wise to book them straight after each other, gotta have some breathing room! Since the company is paying just arrange a day off to do them.
