Hey guys,

I would just like your thoughts on which to study.
Obviously MCSA is old and being retired yet a lot of businesses still use the products.
MCITP is the new stuff and will future proof me for a while.

Is it worth my while just doing the MCITP and skipping MCSA?
My mind is set on the MCITP but I would appreciate your views :)

Thanks,
Em

MCITP: Enterprise Desktop Support Technician 7
Exam 70-680
Exam 70-685

&

MCITP: Server Administrator
Exam 70-640
Exam 70-642
Exam 70-646

Is what I'm aiming for.

Well currently I'm studying with xp and server '03 at college. I could get my XP desktop support exam easily (free exam attempt with dreamspark) and have a good knowledge of '03.
So I guess the itp is the best!

Hmm im reading reviews on the first micrososft book (70-680) and they say things like this:
The book has so many spelling mistakes, erroneous characters (IN SYSTEM COMMANDS!!) which can set you back hours and days in troubleshooting until you find them. I have a whole questions/answers part printed in my book BACK TO FRONT! This leads to a fun experience trying to work out if you have studied the chapter or not.

I cannot stress how much this book needs to be updated, some sections were laughable.

Iv read many reviews saying the same thing.

Would you still say are the best option?

Cheers,
Em

I have got the CBT Nugget videos now to go hand in hand with the textbook for studying.
Would you say that should suffice?
