Does anyone know how i would go about studying for an MCSE/MCSA and where i could take the exam? I've looked online and some places want to charge nearly £2k  Surely it's not that expensive for an exam??

The exams themselves are about £90 each, at work we use a company called Prometric. What you are probably looking at is the cost of a course rather than just an exam and it wouldn't suprise me if that was the cost per module.

Prometric and Pearson Vue (get googling) are the only companies that you can book the exam through unless you have them as part of a training package (they have exam sites all over the country). If it's like CompTIA exams the prices move about because they're in US dollars.
