Heya,

I've being having a little look at a way to automatically control all my case/rad fans and this little beastie seems to fit the bill. The only thing that concerns me is the age of it really!

Is anyone still using these and is the software up to date? I'm looking for automatic adjustment of about 7 fans and a pump will this be up to the job? From the specs it looks like it, are there any other alternatives?:)

I'd recommend the Aquacomputer Aquaero 5 LT instead tbh mate. Only reason is because it has awesome capabilities above and beyond this little baby, with software constantly being updated to bring in new features.

I have a BigNG and its not at all easy to use and I don't think there has been a update for years but I could be wrong on that one. Defo go for the Aquaero.

Fantastic! That looks like a pretty sweet piece of kit. I'm glad to see the software is always being updated too so i think I know what I'm going for. Just one thing, I may be being a little blind here but does it say anywhere how much power each channel can deliver?

Unless your REALLY into making your fans near silent, the LT wins.
But the BigNG is second to none for getting serious fans to spin at below most controlers stall speeds.
I had it running SAN ACES at below 3v

As other have said the Aquaero LT and it's software are SO much better and current.
Just silent nuts like me that us a BigNG now.
And the LT keeps temping me - advent calender possable, maybe... please :D

Does anyone know if you can stop the fans completely with the software? It seems hard to find info for the product in English! My fans are all gentle typhoon 1850s so I'm hoping to get as quiet as possible. The most I want to use per channel is 4 so looks like I should be alright!

with the aquereo lt can it use the internal pc sensors rather that the cabled ones (i always struggle to route them tidily.

just bought the LT having owned the PRO model - man I missed this baby more than anything!!! pls pls OCuk deliver before weekend :)

I believe internal sensors are going to be available in future releases of the Aquasuite software. For the time being its only external sensors.

With regards to stopping the fans - yes thats not a problem - once you get below a certain voltage the fans auto shut-off anyways ;)

Yep the BigNG can stop the fan from windows.

Looks like you can use the current (0.3.2beta) 'open hardware monitor' instead of the old status software.

If you still have a 32bit OS then use samurize instead of the Mcubed software
