As above, my MD really just buys things without looking into things properly. As much as I adore the Aston what other cars would be available... budget between £40k - £60k, does not like porsche for some reason!
Good shout, an excelent alternative to something like a DB9, given the obvious similarilities between the two cars. If I was after a big GT like a DB9 the Noble (Which model are you thinking of?) would be on my shortlist for sure.
As far as I think, I'm not sure there is much else available at this pricepoint. Early Gallardo perhaps? Not quite as GT as the DB9 though, more a V8 Vantage rival.
Well, it's just as sensible a DB9 alternative as a Noble I guess....
Jag XKR would be an option I'd have thought. Maseratis of various flavours as well.
Or this, and keep the rest of the cash in reserve for the inevitable Big Bill™. Power, opulence, just about sure-footed enough to get around corners properly, not git-ish in the slightest and oh-so cool. That would be my choice anyway, because I'm clinically insane.
If he's got cars already and enough money surely each person has there own 'classic I've wanted one of those since I was 11' cars that he should look at, a Mustang, Corvette, old Jag, DB7, etc...?
DB9 is certainly not a bad choice. I assume he's aware of the running costs and can afford it all?
Its also a LHD only american supercar with a typically american interior
Not going to appeal to an MD in the mood for an Aston.
Audi R8 is a good shout actually. Being audi very good build quality, and not really commanding a premium anymore since theres plenty of stock about now.
yeah you know what your getting with Audi, plus that low ride with those LED lights mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm but i checked on autotrader few going around the 60k mark anywhere ranging from the 20kmiles mark to 35k miles
550 is getting on a bit now, but a 575 is about the same year as what age DB9 he'll be getting at that price, and both sit comfortably within his budget.
