i have a Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 "LGA775 Conroe" 2.40GHz (1066FSB) that i got for my birthday im also gettin 4gig og 800mhz memory for christamas and i have a Gigabyte S-series GA-965P-DS3IS3 Motherbord. Can you guys please tell me how i can overclock this to 3ghz because when i tryed it didnt do anything

What programme did you use to check your overclock and what did you raise your FSB too.
Also do you have speedstep enabled.

3ghz with an E6600 and a DS3 is easy peasey.

You shouldn't have to touch the CPU voltage, but you'll probably have to up the (v)MCH voltage to strengthen the northbridge if your 4gb is going to be four 1gb sticks.

Set the fsb to 334mhz, set the memory multiplier to x2 if running PC2-5300 or x2.5 if running PC2-6400, and set the correct memory overvoltage for your memory (the default setting is 1.8v, so +0.1 for 1.9v, +0.2v for 2.0v etc).
