Well I'm probably world renowned for my hobbies and I'm sure you're all bored of me telling you about them, then changing my mind.

I just really wanted to share what I did today...

Minimoto!

Just awesome!

I've ridden big motocross bikes a fair bit now, but last year most of my mates swapped to minis.

I never understood why. Until today.

What a laugh!

They've built a proper track with whoops, a tabletop, banked corners and double jumps.

I came of the bloody thing twice. Really hurt my ribs. If it's not better tomorrow, I might have to go for an xray I think :o

Anyway, the big downside to todays activities.... I want a minimoto! NOW!

Anyone tried it?

I'll post some pics and some vids in a bit after I've washed the mud off my face!! :D

EDIT - Example vid (a lot bigger than I thought :o )

Looks cool though. Can't wait till it gets a bit warmer so I can actually use my mini-moto properly.

Hmm how did that happen??

What have you got? I'm just looking at them now...

That's not a minimoto it's a minibike :p

mini this, mini that.

It's small. :p

Are minimotos those silly street bike replica things?

those things eat feet!

I'm more worried about the fact I went over the bars twice. Cartwheeled one and had it land on my ribs.

The turning circle is rediculously small compared to a proper bike.

Great fun though :D

haha that looks fun, whos the scaredy cat in the high vis vest, he runs over a cone and doesnt make the jump. :D

they look like minimoto crossers

He's a lunatic who normally rides a 450cc motox bike. He's big and fat, and don;t think he felt too comfortable on the little bike :p

He'd also forgotten his goggles so was getting rocks and other crud in his face all day long!

They are, effectively.

They're CRF50s or replicas, most likely replicas with 110/120cc engines. Fun but bloody lethal!

They are all tuned and upgraded 120cc Thumpstars, except for "Joe 90" which is a home made 90cc using a grandad automatic moped. Well dodgy. That was the first one I flipped!

Xsport's are also good mini crossers :)

Your mates had any busted gearboxes on the Thumpstars yet?

Not that I know of.

I've heard loads of people **** them off, but they love them.

But they are all mechanics and keep tweaking them.

Should just get proper MX bikes tbh, you bunch of girls :p

still got mine ;)

That's what I;'ve been saying to them for over a year, but I now see why they like it so much. It really was a great laugh. Also a lot less hassle than big bikes: trailers etc...
