Me and Wales this weekend

Thought you might like to see how beautiful Wales was this weekend, took in some amazing scenery on our ride on yesterday, cold and muddy never felt so good!

Seems too dry to see any whales.

Edit: Sorry, that was pap. Nice photo, I'd like to go running there. :D
 
I think the camera phone doesn't quite do it justice, there were some of the best view I've ever seen - I chose that pic because the little village was where the visitors' centre was, which meant the downhill section was really close!

arg .... ive only just realised how badly that stoopid video has dug itself into my very soul, i read that in my head in legolas's voice, with the repeats included! :mad:

So in summary we've all seen much better pics of Wales. In fact you are so useless you might as well be dead.

I think it is a nice picture - at first glance you don't realise there are houses in the valley, but then when you do see them you get a real appreciation of the scale of the pic.

Wales is an amazing place. I was there last Thursday taking these shots. I had Radio 1 on in the car as I arrived and KT Tunstall was reading a passage from her favourite book. It was snowing, the clouds were drifiting over the mountains and I was listening to KT Tunstall's very lovely voice. Kinda makes me wanna move out there.

There's a bit of a story behind that shot; when I was heading over to Ireland in '89 on my XS650 the front mudguard cracked through the welds and fell off about 200 yds before that layby. And as the OMGWTFBBQ was the first time I'd been along that road since then, it seemed kinda fitting to make that my loo-and-ciggie-break stopping place. As you can see, the front mudguard stayed firmly attached this time! :)

And I thought that the view in front of me looked good and told a story, so I took the shot. I'm glad other people like it.
