Hi guys

I bought a cheap bluetooth obd adaptor off of ebay and it arrived this morning. Have set it up and everything reads fine in torque but I'm a little confused on how I can see my cars max bhp. My car is rated at over 200bhp so do I need to be going at top speed and at a set amount of revs to see my max? Or does it need to be on a rolling road? I took it for a little spin and thrashed it a little but max I saw was 140ish.

Cheers

I imagine it uses the weight you input and any 0-60 runs you do to come up with some sort of rough number.

In short it's just a gimmick - the rest of the app is pretty good though even the dodgy 0-60 timer when you're feeling like a complete child.

Cheers rodenal

I thought the bhp would have come straight from the ecu or am I being dumb? 0-60 works perfect although I don't think I'm very good at setting off to be fair.

It will be wheel horse power minus more for wind resistance. Ie rubbish tool but being able to see the torque profile is really useful
